
Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District extinguished a brush fire Sunday.
According to the fire department’s tweet, crews responded to a brush fire between 44th St. SW and 46th St. SW.
The fire was near homes, but firefighters say there was no damage to them or injuries due to the fire.
Important reminder: Lee County is currently under a 30-day, burn ban.

Update: Crews are now mopping up the area. Fire is extinguished.
