Red Roof Inn shooting. Photo via WINK News Collier County deputies are investigating an early morning shooting at a Red Roof Inn in Naples. According to the sheriff’s office, a man was shot in the stomach inside a hotel room at 1925 Davis Blvd. CCSO initially responded to a noise complaint at that location and found the victim. He was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital. The victim was standing outside at the time of the shooting, and witnesses were unable to tell deputies if the shots were fired from someone on foot or in a car. A bullet is believed to have hit a window and a door at two separate neighboring rooms, the CCSO report stated. The victim’s condition has not been released and CCSO is continuing to investigate.
