A Cape Coral man was arrested and charged with DUI on Sunday after troopers say he was driving aggressively in the parking lot of their Fort Myers headquarters.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Dallas Joseph Ziemski, 26, was aggressively accelerating and turning his 2016 Dodge Charger in the front parking lot of the FHP office off Daniels Parkway around 8:30 p.m.

Troopers stopped him and placed him under arrest for DUI. Due to his high level of impairment, Ziemski was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital. Once medically cleared, he was booked into the Lee County Jail.
