A Cape Coral teen has been arrested in connection with two separate robberies, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.

The 15-year-old faces one count of robbery without a firearm or weapon and one count of robbery by sudden snatching without a firearm or weapon. WINK News will not name the suspect because he is a minor.

Deputies say the teen snatched a bag of cigarettes from a clerk at the Marathon gas station at Pondella Road and North Cleveland Avenue in North Fort Myers on Nov. 14, then ran from the store. Shortly after, he was caught in Fort Myers as a suspect in a robbery investigation there.
