Cooler, drier and breezy weather moves into SW Florida

Published: Updated:

It’s not the humidity that’ll hit you like a brick wall today… it’s the cooler and drier air!

We mix in a ton of sunshine this afternoon as highs soar to the mid-upper 70s. It’ll be a pleasant day with a breezy wind.

That wind still keeps our local wave heights elevated today. Be safe if you plan to head to the coast or out on the water!

Due to wind, low humidity, and drier-than-normal conditions, our Fire Danger Index is also elevated today for Charlotte, Lee, and Collier counties.

If you’re prepping for outdoor activities this Easter weekend, you’re good to go! Partly sunny, cooler and drier weather continues.
