Fort Myers Police Department arrested a man Tuesday for his part in a June fatal crash. This crash occurred along State Road 82 in Fort Myers near River Trent Court.
According to FMPD, June 1, just before 5 p.m., there was a deadly crash that claimed the life of Alexander Marin Colon, 29.
Police say driver James Alan Tilney Jr., 50, was driving recklessly and that his actions led to Colon’s death.
Authorities found a white Ford F-150 work vehicle with Cool Today air conditioning decals on it, but the driver was gone.
Tilney faces charges of vehicular homicide and failure to remain at a crash involving death.
Fort Myers PD reminds all people involved in a crash to remain at the scene.
