The man responsible for a 2020 Labor Day shooting on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Fort Myers has been sentenced to life in prison on a count of second-degree murder.
Roscoe Randolph Jordan was found guilty of shooting and killing a man in front of the D & D Convenience Store on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard after getting into an argument with the man he shot.
The State Attorney’s Office says Jordan was wearing a mask during the shooting and was caught on camera and later identified by several witnesses. About 15 minutes after the shooting, the State Attorney’s Office says he returned to the scene without a mask and was quickly arrested.
