The curfew for the City of Cape Coral has been lifted as of 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

The city is asking that residents still be aware of what is going on around them and be the eyes and ears of the community.

As the cleanup of the exterior and interior of homes and businesses continues, the city asks residents to focus on replacing exterior lighting and surveillance cameras, if possible, to help diminish their vulnerability to crime.

All suspicious activity should be reported to the Cape Coral Police Department.
