Some are doing their best to get back to normal just four weeks after Ian, and Halloween is a great way to get their minds off of things.

The Halloween event, Boo-Tacular, had an amazing turnout on Friday night with different activities for everyone in the family.

The Halloween fun was in full effect at the North Collier Regional Park.

People dressed as princesses, Spider-man, skeletons, unicorns, and just about any vintage costume you can imagine.

Catalina attended the Halloween event and had a great time celebrating.

“It was really fun. I met one of my friends, and I went to a bouncy house, I got to enter the contest for 7, and for 4, it was really fun and I get to hang with family,” Catalina said.

Flory Ploski, dressed as Winifred Sanderson, told WINK News after the storm, events like Boo-Tacular bring the community together.

“It’s good for everyone to get out and enjoy themselves such a tragedy,” Ploski said.

And people did, they had a chance to check out different activities like a photo booth, pumpkin hunt, and a costume contest.
