A neighborhood was sent into the dark again on Saturday after power poles were taken down.

It’s happening in Cape Coral, and people nearby have no idea when the power is going to come back on.

Residents had to get their generators out once again after the power went out around 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Cape Coral resident, Ed Denno spoke with WINK News about the moment he lost power.

“Watching tv and the power just went out. So… we just jumped in the car went to Dairy Queen, as everyone should do. And came back saw that the power was still out, now I’m rewiring the generator just in case it stays off or goes off again,” Denno said.

WINK News is waiting to get a response from LCEC but one LCEC employee at the scene in Cape Coral said more crews were coming to help out.
