The hottest literary event of the year is just two weeks away: Once again, the Southwest Florida Reading Festival has a stellar lineup of authors coming to Fort Myers.

One of the most anticipated is Meg Medina, who was named National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature. Medina joined WINK News anchors Corey Lazar and Lindsey Sablan on Friday morning, along with Melissa Baker, the coordinator of the Southwest Florida Reading Festival.

WINK News is a proud sponsor of the festival, which takes place Saturday, March 4 at the Fort Myers Regional Library campus in downtown Fort Myers. Admission is free. Visit the festival website for more information.
