Search continues for hit-and-run driver who killed bicyclist in Alva in 2021

Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find a driver responsible for hitting a bicyclist and leaving her to die.

Two years ago, 64-year-old Deborah Purcaro was out on a ride with her friend on North River Road in Alva.

The tragic crash took Purcaro’s life and left her friend alive but hospitalized.

Purcaro was an active member of the Caloosa Riders Bicycle Club.

The organization is offering additional cash to Crime Stoppers for any information on the driver who fled the scene. If you have any information on the crash, please reach out to Crime Stoppers. You could be eligible for a $6,000 reward.
