Stray showers forecast for this holiday weekend

The WINK News Weather Authority keeps Southwest Florida up to date with its hourly weather forecast, seven days a week.

WINK News Meteorologist Zach Maloch is tracking a cloudy start to your Friday morning with potential rain showers throughout this holiday weekend.

Here’s what to expect for the next three days:

Friday: Mostly cloudy morning with temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s. We’ll see the clouds linger through the day again with pleasant temperatures. Highs in the mid-70s.

Saturday:  Mostly cloudy day with a few showers in the afternoon and early evening. Temperatures will be milder with highs in the mid to upper 70s. 

Sunday: Mostly cloudy conditions continue with a stray shower chance in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 70s. We’ll see dry conditions for Christmas Eve plans and pleasant weather for Santa’s flight through Southwest Florida! 

Christmas Day: Mostly cloudy and dry for Christmas morning. Lows will be in the lower to mid 60s. Mostly cloudy day with mainly dry conditions. We’ll see a few showers move in later in the day and mainly after sunset. Highs in the upper 70s.
