Deputies have arrested a man after an armed robbery at a business near West Tarpon Boulevard and U.S. 41. According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, the armed robbery happened at the Jackpot Zone Arcade on Wednesday morning. Authorities announced the arrest of Harry Deshawn Thompson as a suspect. He was arrested just hours after the crime, and authorities said he was found in the same car he used to get away. The suspect was dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask. The man was described as skinny and standing approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall. The suspect left on foot.
