Sunday is the final day for early voting if you are a resident of Charlotte County, with just two days to go until the 2024 presidential election.

Early voting wrapped up in the other southwest Florida counties on Saturday, but for those of you looking to get a jump on those long lines typically present on election day, you’ll have three options before the polling places close.

Sunday evening marks the end of early voting in Charlotte County, so if you plan on voting before Nov. 5, be sure to get to the polls before they close at 7 p.m.

While voting has happened at the Charlotte County Historic Courthouse in the past, it was moved to the event center due to Hurricane Milton.

It’s worth noting how many people have taken advantage of early voting. According to the Charlotte County Supervisor of Elections website, 55,431 people have voted early.

There is still time to vote by mail in Charlotte County before the Tuesday deadline.

You can drop your mail-in ballot off at these locations:

  • The Charlotte County Historic Courthouse in Punta Gorda
    • 226 Taylor Street, Punta Gorda, FL. 33950
  • The Charlotte County Administrative Building in Port Charlotte
    • 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, FL. 33948
  • The Mac V. Horton West County Annex in Englewood
    • 6868 San Casa Drive, Englewood, FL. 34224
