COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A shooting in Collier County left one teenager dead and another one in the hospital. According to the Collier County Sheriff’s office, the shooting happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday near Everglades Boulevard and 50th Avenue NE. The family tells WINK News that 17-year-old Marcos Aleman was shot and killed. He was a student at Palmetto Ridge High School. Aleman’s family says one of their son’s good friends was taken to Lee Memorial. Deputies say they have one person detained. Trust WINK News to bring you updates as we get them.
