MLB.com/ CBS News ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) – A love story played out before the Tampa Bay Rays game at Tropicana Field when a first responder proposed to the woman he helped save. As Melissa Dohme prepared to toss the first pitch on Monday, Cameron Hill ran out to present her with a baseball. On it, he’d inked in red: Will you marry me? She said yes. The Tampa Bay Times (http://bit.ly/1cshPC0 ) reports Hill responded to a 911 call after Dohme’s former boyfriend stabbed her 32 times in 2012. Cameron couldn’t get her off his mind, and calls it a “sixth sense” that he knew he’d see her again. Later that year, they did meet again. And a romance blossomed. She graduated from college. He saw her through her former boyfriend’s trial. Dohme calls Hill her “fairy tale.” Click here to watch the full proposal video.
