Manatee released into wild after bout with red tide

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A 700-pound manatee rehabilitated from health problems caused by red tide was released back into the wild Thursday at the boat ramp next to Lee County Manatee Park. Still, concerns about another manatee at the park persist.
