PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. After 30 years on the job, Charlotte County Emergency Management Director Wayne Sallade is retiring.
Sallade’s efforts were critical in helping Charlotte County recover from Hurricane Charley in 2004.
A celebration of his career was held on Friday.
