EAST NAPLES, Fla. He forced his victims to take it all off before he took off.

An armed man barged into a hotel room Sunday night and made the people inside disrobe, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said.

The eight victims, in town to help open a nearby Texas Roadhouse restaurant, were hanging out in a hotel room at the Comfort Inn & Executive Suites on 3860 Tollgate Blvd. The suspect entered, showed a gun and ordered them to strip and hand over their wallets and jewelry, according to the sheriff’s office.

A hotel employee knocked on the door and the suspect told one of the victims to put his clothes back on and answer the door, the sheriff’s office said. He opened the door, ran out and yelled, “He’s got a gun!”

One of the women inside the room went inside a closet and sent a Snapchat message to her boss to call 911.

The suspect escaped with cash, jewelry, a cellphone and other items before deputies arrived on scene, according to the sheriff’s office. He was wearing a plaid shirt, ski mask, blue jeans and white sneakers.

No further information was immediately available.
