FORT MYERS, Fla. Flames charred the back of an abandoned house early Tuesday morning in Pine Manor, the South Trail Fire & Rescue District official said. The blaze began around 1:15 a.m. at a residence on Fifth Avenue, according to officials. No one was inside at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is unclear, but an investigation is ongoing. Florida Power and Light crews worked to secure the power lines connected to the home. No further information was immediately available.
