Jorge Guerrero-Torres FORT MYERS, Fla. A 29-year-old man facing molestation and battery charges in connection with a missing San Carlos Park girl appeared in court Monday morning. Jorge Guerrero was found guilty of producing and possessing lewd images of 10-year-old Diana Alvarez. He was later sentenced to 40 years in prison. Diana went missing more than one year ago, but Guerrero has not been formally charged in her disappearance. The sheriff’s office recommended the additional charges lewd or lascivious molestation and battery of a child on Aug. 15. The state attorney’s office filed the charges on Sept. 1. Guerrero remains held without bond at the Lee County Jail. His court appearance began at 8:30 a.m. at the Lee County Clerk of Court at 1700 Monroe St.
