IMMOKALEE, Fla. Many Irma victims are getting some sweet relief Friday.

Members of the The French Pastry School in Chicago are handing out some of the 30,000 cookies they baked for Hurricane Irma victims at the Redlands Christian Migrant Association Community School on North Fourth Street.

The event continues until 6 p.m., as long as supplies last.

Another 30,000 cookies from the school went to Hurricane Harvey victims.

Norman Love Confections also baked cookies and distributed them at the community school.
