Published: Updated:

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – The City of Cape Coral has created a progress map to give residents a better idea about where debris pick-up crews are working.

Approximately 15-20 contracted crews, plus additional City staff members are picking up debris seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

To access the map, go to capecoral.net.

The City asks residents for patience patient – the first pass is complete in some areas and may take longer to achieve in other areas.

The residential debris drop-off site is still accepting horticultural debris between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily, seven days a week.

The latest estimate for a first pass to be complete citywide is mid-November, but the City urges this is only an estimate.

Canal debris clean-up begins this week in Cape Coral and is expected to take approximately three months to complete.
