BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. A Naples High School staff member was arrested and faces DUI charges after a Sunday afternoon crash at Bonita Beach Road and Imperial Parkway.

Brian Donald King, 51, of Bonita Springs, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.273, more than three times the legal limit, when tested at the Naples Jail Center following his arrest, according to a Collier County Sheriff’s Office report.

At least one person was hurt in the crash, for which King was found to be at fault, the arrest report states. The arrest was made after King appeared to be impaired during field sobriety exercises.

King is employed as an exceptional student education assistant at the school, according to the school’s website. A Collier County school district spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

King is facing a pair of DUI-related charges and is being held on $3,000 bond.
