Starting this month, eight new medical residents will start seeing patients as part of Lee Health’s Family Medicine Residency Program. This program trains new doctors while helping fill a critical care gap for Southwest Florida. Dr. Alfred Gitu, director of the Lee Health residency program joined us to discuss the program and what these new doctors will be learning.
