It’s that time of the year when families create memorable experiences that last a lifetime at Walt Disney World Parks. From viewing the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction to riding the thrilling Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, there will be one thing visitors will not experience: tobacco fumes permeating into the air.

Walt Disney World will ban designated smoking areas inside its theme parks starting in May 1, according to its blog. While there have been designated smoking areas in the past, they will no longer be present inside Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme parks, water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex or Downtown Disney in California.

But, designated smoking areas will be available outside select entrances and Disney Resort hotels.

The theme park has also announced changes in its stroller and wagons policy.

Beginning May 1, stroller can no longer be larger than 31″ (79cm) wide and 52″ (132cm) long. Also, stroller wagons will also no longer be permitted.

The smaller your stroller, the easier it is to navigate and maneuver the parks, the Disney blog provides.

“My number one go-to is renting a stroller from Disney,” explains Disney Parks Moms Panelist Tabitha. “At Walt Disney World Resort, you can rent a single or double stroller once you arrive, and they can be rented each day or you can choose a Length of Stay Rental.”
