Car goes in flames in Lehigh Acres, eastbound Lee Blvd. lanes blocked

A car went up in flames Friday afternoon, causing delays on a Lee County roadway.

The car went on fire at Ruth Ave. N. and Lee Blvd. in Lehigh Acres around 3 p.m. Due to the fire, the eastbound lanes of Lee Blvd. have been blocked.

At this time, it is not clear whether there were any injuries.

Avoid the route, if possible.
