Flood Advisory

Parts of Collier County are under a Flood Advisory until 1:45 a.m. Saturday. NWS says some locations that will experience flooding include Naples, Marco Island, Ave Maria, Golden Gate Estates and Everglades City.

NWS advises people to be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of canals and streams, roads, farmland and other low lying spots.
