Greater Naples Fire Rescue District crews contained a brush fire near homes in Golden Gate Estates Friday.
According to the fire department’s Facebook post, firefighters have contained a five to seven-acre brush fire off Everglades Boulevard S.
Two homes were in danger at one point during the response, but there were no damages or injuries due to the flames.
Crews continue to monitor the area and are working toward clearing the scene. Smoke can still be seen in the area.
