An arrest has been made in a home invasion and shooting that left two people injured in North Fort Myers last month.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said Eric Medina, 18, of Bonita Springs, faces two counts of aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, one count of burglary using a deadly weapon, and a weapons offense.

Deputies were called Aug. 19 to a home in the 500 block of Stockton Street, which is in the Palmona Park neighborhood off Pine Island Road.

LCSO said two people were shot and had non-life-threatening injuries.

Medina was arrested Tuesday afternoon and remains in the Lee County Jail.
