Mermaid Fest this weekend on Lovers Key

Calling all mermaids! You’ll want to head to Lovers Key this weekend for some fun.

Mermaid Fest 2020 opens Friday and runs through Sunday with free admission. Artists, wellness groups and local nonprofits will be a part of the event.

Free yoga will be available every morning at 10 and there will be children’s storytime on Saturday at 4:40 p.m.

If you want to show your mermaid spirit, there will be a costume contest on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Mermaid Fest is taking place at the Event Field, 8700 Estero Blvd. Hours each day are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Note: Social distancing rules will be in effect at this event.
