Several people were transported to the hospital Friday morning after a beehive was hit by a crew of tree trimmers.
The Fort Myers Fire Department said the individuals affected were doing all right. The bees were described as honey bees.
The incident occurred on Allen Street just before 10 a.m.
No other information is known at this time.
