Major cooldown across Southwest Florida this weekend

A strong cold front pushed across the area overnight, and is bringing us the coolest air so far this fall across Southwest Florida. Today will start off mostly cloudy with some drizzle, but our weather will improve throughout the day with decreasing clouds, and we should turn mostly sunny by this evening. Otherwise, expect blustery winds out the northwest with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

Looking ahead to Sunday, expect plenty of sun with highs back in the mid-70s. Gorgeous weather continues into the work week with plenty of Sun Monday and Tuesday, by Wednesday moisture will return bringing back the potential for a few showers. An isolated shower will be possible each day through the end of the workweek, before another strong cold front arrives next weekend.
