Above-average temperatures ahead of Tuesday’s cooldown

Highs will reach the low 80s Monday afternoon under cloudy skies.

A few pop-up showers will be possible throughout the day. However, the majority of Southwest Florida will miss out on this rain.

A cold front will push through our viewing area Tuesday. This will usher in cooler and drier weather.

On the leading edge of the front, expect isolated rain chances to return. Those rain chances drop to zero once the front passes through.

Our high temperatures will plummet into the lower 70s on Tuesday. For the remainder of the week, we will primarily be experiencing below-average temperatures.

There are no tropical systems expected over the next five days. Only eight days remain in the Atlantic hurricane season.
