Warmer temperatures return under sunny skies

Highs will climb into the 70s under clear skies Monday afternoon.

For the second day in a row, Southwest Florida had freeze warnings in effect for our inland zones.

Only light chop in our bays and 1- to 2-foot wave heights are expected in the gulf. This will be a stark contrast to the hazardous boating conditions we had over the weekend.

A warming trend will put our highs into the 80s by Wednesday. These above-average temperatures will stick with us into the weekend.

Our next cold front will bring rain chances back to impacting Southwest Florida on Saturday and Sunday. Thankfully, this system will likely only have minimal impacts on our temperatures.
