A heavy favorite at the beginning of the week, Jon Rahm has lived up to his reputation through the first 54 holes of the Mexico Open.

He will enter the final round at 15 under with a two-stroke lead as he looks to get back to his winning ways.

Held without a victory since his major championship breakthrough at the U.S. Open last June, the world No. 2 is in a prime position to take home his seventh PGA Tour title.

While the fiery Spaniard commands the top spot on the leaderboard, he will have his work cut out for him as 12 players are within five strokes of his lead.

Those waiting for Rahm to slip up include three-time PGA Tour winner Cameron Champ at 13 under and former Masters champion Patrick Reed at 10 under.

Hoping to jump-start his 2022, a victory at the Mexico Open would propel Rahm into the PGA Championship in two weeks’ time.

You can watch the final-round action live on CBS (WINK-TV) from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday.
