A few showers return Friday

A front approaching from the north will lead to a day of more cloud cover and a chance for a few showers Friday. Look for another day of above-average high temperatures, with highs in the lower 80s under a mostly cloudy sky.

As this front stalls across the area into Saturday, we’ll maintain a chance for a few showers.

This will kick off a period characterized by fronts moving in from the north and stalling out. This will last through early next week. What does this mean for our forecast? Warm, muggy conditions will persist through at least the first half of next week along with daily opportunities for some rain.

It looks like a stronger front will finally clear the area next Wednesday into Thursday, which should lead to a cool down and a drop in humidity by next Friday.
