The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says it has arrested 50 people in a drug investigation called “Operation Curbside Crackdown.”

Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said the LCSO narcotics unit began the investigation last month to identify street-level narcotics dealers. From Friday at 6 a.m. through the weekend, deputies across several task forces served search warrants at suspected drug houses in Lee County.

Marceno said two homes were in North Fort Myers on Tuesday. One was on Pioneer Road, the other on Palm Creek Drive.

As a result of the search warrant at the drug houses, eight grams of powder cocaine, 49 grams of crack cocaine, 620 grams of meth, 497 grams of fentanyl, eight guns, and more than $309,000 were seized.
