Tuesday’s high temperatures reach upper 80s, low 90s

Published: Updated:

After a day of record-tying and record-breaking heat Monday, Tuesday will feature another day of near-record heat as highs soar back into the upper 80s and low 90s.

Wednesday will initiate the start of a pattern change to a more unsettled weather pattern. A weak cold front moving into the area tomorrow afternoon will bring some isolated rain to areas especially along and west of I-75, after around 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

This will be the first out of three cold fronts to move through our area over the next 10 days.

The second front is set to move in Saturday, which will bring us some additional isolated rain Friday night through the day Saturday.

Our third front will move through in the Monday to Tuesday timeframe of next week. Out of all three fronts, this will likely be the front that brings us a drop in temperatures. In fact, by midweek next week, we are currently forecasting highs in the upper 70s and lows back in the 50s.
