UPDATE: Elonia was found safe by deputies shortly after 8 a.m.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a missing girl from Lehigh Acres.
According to LCSO, Elonia Irizarry was walking her dog Wednesday morning in the area of Ontario Avenue South but has not returned home. Elonia was wearing a red polo and khaki pants. She is 4 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs around 85 pounds.
Deputies are currently at the scene helping to search, plus multiple LCSO assets including Reunite, drones, and a K-9 unit.
