Firefighter given award for saving drowning driver in submerged car

A Cape Coral firefighter has been recognized after saving a driver from a car submerged in a canal.

Firefighter Kyle Mann swam out, broke the car’s window and pulled the driver to safety.

Mann is now being recognized for his heroic actions by the Cape Coral City Council. He was presented with an “Award of Commendation.”
