The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports of a man pulling a rifle on a garbage truck worker in Lehigh Acres. WINK News spoke with a woman who was too afraid to speak on camera, but she said she did see the incident on Monday. She said she saw the man with the rifle walking back to his house after the confrontation. The incident happened on the 300 block of Hightower Avenue South in Lehigh Acres. LCSO said the Waste Pro worker was reversing down the street when a man came out and started yelling. That same man went back inside and returned with a rifle and said, “Say one more word, or you’re dead.” LCSO deputies responded, contacted the resident and began their investigation. No arrests have been made. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said they’re actively investigating and canvassing the area and conducting interviews for more information.
