LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who used a credit card stolen from a senior citizen to rack up nearly $1,000 in purchases at a 7-Eleven.

The 70-year-old victim had been at the 7-Eleven convenience store on Sunshine Boulevard early in the day on June 23.

Authorities say at some point, the victim’s wallet, containing several credit cards, had gone missing or was stolen.

Later that day, a woman made two purchases, one for $500 and one for $400, at that same store using the man’s stolen credit cards.

The victim was unaware of the charges until his bank contacted him.

Surveillance cameras captured an image of the woman who fraudulently made the purchases with the stolen card. She is described as being 6 feet tall with a large build.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000. Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
