Authorities seek ID for possible Gateway home burglars

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Three people are suspected of using a credit card stolen during an overnight burglary at a Gateway-area residence.

Sometime between 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20 and 1 a.m. Sunday, the suspect(s) burglarized a car after gaining entrance through an unlocked garage door on Meadow Pine Lane.

A purse, several landscaping tools, and a laptop computer were taken from the car and garage.

Around 1 a.m. Sunday, a credit card from the stolen purse was used at the RaceTrac convenience store in Lehigh Acres by an man. Several hours later, two women were caught on surveillance cameras using the stolen card at the North Fort Myers Wal-Mart.
