
SANIBEL, Fla.- E8’s condition has been upgraded to fair, the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) said Wednesday.
E8 is now standing and using the right injured leg although the eaglet still spends a lot of time lying down, CROW said.

The eaglet is also bright and alert and eating a diet of semi-soft fish fillets and meat. E8 does need assistance eating but has been doing so on its own more often.
Blood work abnormalities have resolved and are back to normal, CROW added.
