Simone Barkowski SAN CARLOS PARK, Fla. โ A 49-year-old German residentย who was in Southwest Florida to visit her daughter was found dead after disappearing Friday, a close family friend told WINK News. The cause of death for Simone Barkowski remains unknown. She depended on medication, her daughter said. She left her daughter’s San Carlos Park home in her blue Saab convertibleย between 8 and 9 a.m. Friday morning and hadn’t been seen since, according to her daughter. Barkowski told her daugher she was going to the beach for a few hours and would return. She frequented Barefoot and Bonita beaches, her daughter said. No further information is immediately available.
