Credit: via WINK News. Florida state lawmakers are looking to pass legislation that would ensure guns stay out of the hands of people convicted of domestic violence. Felons convicted of domestic violence are already prohibited, but it can be easier said than done to keep weapons out of the hands of those who are convicted. A new plan could make the process to keep guns and other weapons out of domestic abuser’s hands quicker, and allow law enforcement officers to take the weapons away before a conviction.
