FHP confirms driver Barbara Ann Porro, 53, of Arcadia was killed in a crash after the vehicle she was in hit a mailbox and a tree along CR-760. According to FHP, the crash happened around 10:45 p.m. when Porro and a passenger were traveling northbound on CR-760 in a 2018 Subaru Outback, north of SE Sanders Rd. The crash report says the Subaru was approaching a curve to the right along the roadway, and the driver failed to negotiate it and went to the left off the roadway, hitting a mailbox and a tree. This caused the vehicle to roll over in a southeast direction and land in the southbound lanes of CR-760. Porro was pronounced dead at the scene, and the passenger was listed as having minor injuries. Neither Porro or the passenger were wearing seat belts. And alcohol remains pending as a factor in the crash.
