According to FGCU, a student of the Bower School of Music & the Arts has tested positive for the coroanvirus. Prior to this diagnosis, the music hall was open and has now been closed.
The university says the student is now in isolation following CDC COVID-19 guidelines.
According to the announcement, the student was last at the music hall Tuesday, April 7. The Bower modular and Bower building are now receiving decontamination cleaning and have been closed.
The university said it has no further knowledge of any additional cases at this time.
And there is no further information about the student patient.
